Cerebral palsy is a condition which affects muscle control and movement, usually due to damage to the infant brain around the time of birth. As well as causing physical disability, cerebral palsy can be associated with a complex range of difficulties involving vision, hearing, learning and epilepsy.

As a result children with cerebral palsy need not only skilled therapy but also specialist and often expensive equipment to assist them in sitting comfortably, moving, learning and communicating. Many children with cerebral palsy are unable to walk or talk, but the right equipment can be of great value in minimising these difficulties.

This is where the Cheyne Charity can help.
